Photo requirements
One of the most important things in commissioning a portrait is having a good quality photo I can reference from to ensure a good quality portrait. Therefore although phone cameras are good if you own a digital camera that’s even better -the better the photograph the better the portrait!
An ideal photo would be;
-in focus
 -at eye level so I have a clear view of eyes
 -in natural light (no flash needed). The more natural your light source the better, especially when you are photographing very dark or very light coated pets.
 If unfortunately, your pet has passed I shall do my best to portray the pet as best I can with the photos you have.
Photo Selection
The more the merrier. Please feel free to send a selection of your favourite photos  as this can often help to ensure I have included any key details which might be missing from the main reference photo.
If you need any further information please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
timescale
Due to the hand-drawn nature of this product, it may take a number of weeks to be completed. Most portraits are completed in roughly two weeks however during peak periods there is a slightly longer turnaround, however I will advise you of any delays.
Once we have chosen a reference photo and discussed  your pet portrait preferences I will provide you with a written quotation, and ask you for a 50% deposit to secure and schedule in your booking.
Upon completion of your portrait, when you have confirmed that you are happy with it, I will ask for the remaining balance plus the agreed postage charge.
Portraits will be posted once paid for in full.
Unless otherwise agreed drawn portraits will be supplied unmounted. If you would prefer your portrait to be supplied with a mount please let me know when making your initial enquiry so that any additional costs can be included in your original quotation.
